We understand that your privacy is important to you.  Please read below an overview of what information we collect from users of our site (www.milanastile.com), how we handle that information and how you can contact us to correct or remove any information that we may have. We will make every effort to protect any and all information that you choose to share with us when using our website.

By accessing our website, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not use our website.  As we periodically update our Privacy Policy, please be sure to review the latest most current version.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We receive and store certain types of information from you when you place an order, email us, browse our website or when you otherwise enter information into our website, such as for special offers or promotions.

  • Ordering. When ordering on our website, we will ask you to provide your full name, billing address, email address, phone number, credit card/payment details and shipping address.  This information is needed in order to process your order, send you information about your order, respond to your requests and complaints, process payments, and comply with any legal obligations (for example, calculating taxes, etc).  This information is not stored on our servers.

  • Payments. We accept payments through Square. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Square, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. Please see the Square Privacy Policy for more details.

  • Registering. While currently we do not have that option on our website, we may offer individual registration on our website in the future.  If you create an account, we will store your name, address, email and phone number, which will be used to populate the checkout for future orders.

  • Marketing. If you choose to receive marketing messages from us, we will store your email address for that purpose.  You can always unsubscribe from our messages if you no longer wish to receive them.  We will not share your email address with others without your consent.

  • Browsing our website. We may collect specific information automatically when you access our website.  Such information includes your Internet Protocol (IP) address, computer and connection information, internet browser type, operating system and platform. We may also collect the full URL (Uniform Resource Locator) clickstream including how you came to our website, what you viewed, how long you stayed, and when you left, including the date and time. We also may place information in our emails to you (such as a web beacon) that allows us to measure our email deliverability and effectiveness. Finally, we may use software tools to help us analyze session information including response times, page interaction information (e.g., clicks, mouse-overs, and scrolling), and download errors.

  • Cookies. We may also use “cookies,” which are small files that a site or its service provider transfers to your computer's hard drive through your web browser, if you allow, that enables the site's or service provider's systems to recognize your browser and capture and remember certain information. For example, we may use cookies to help us remember and process the items in your shopping cart. They are also used to help us understand your preferences based on previous or current site activity, which enables us to provide you with improved services. We also use cookies to help us compile aggregate data about site traffic and site interaction so that we can offer better site experiences and tools in the future. You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your web browser (like Safari or Internet Explorer) settings. Each browser is a little different, so look at your browser Help menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies. If you turn cookies off, you won't have access to many features that make your site experience more efficient and some of our services will not function properly. However, you can still place orders by contacting us by email or over the telephone.

  • Telephone/email communications.  When utilizing our support services through telephone calls and/or direct email, we may collect any personal Information you may choose to provide to us in the process. This includes, but is not limited to, your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. We may use and process this personal Information to assist you and manage your request.

  • Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. For more information, please see the Google Analytics Data Privacy and Security page.
